American Animals and Spring Night, Summer Night
WARNING: SPOILERS
On this episode of the Cinema Vertigogo Podcast, we take a peek at two overlooked gems with some of the worst distribution deals ever.
American Animals, is a hip heist film that serves as a reminder of how good Moviepass was for the brief time it was.
And Spring Night, Summer Night could have made its director, Joseph L. Anderson, the Cassavettes of the Buckeye State, but tragically it got bumped from the New York Film Festival for Cassavettes’s film Faces and then was butcher by a greedy distributor who turned it into a sleazy exploitation film.
